The head of the firm, Amarkai Amarteifio, is also the Consul General of Sweden in Ghana, the Dean of Consul Generals in Ghana and Vice President of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC). He also served as Minister of State in the Republic of Ghana. A member of the International Bar Association. Mr. Amarteifio is a founding member of the Ghana Arbitration Centre and serves on its Governing Council.
Amarteifio and Company. was established in 1980 by Amarkai Amarteifio, Esq., who until that date was Assistant Director of Legal Services, Ministry of Defence, Accra, Ghana.
Amarteifio & Co. enjoys association with leading firms of Baker and McKenzie of Washington,U.S.A. Messrs Kibedi, Solicitors of London; and Naschitz Brandes of Tel Aviv, Israel.
